I once wrote that the knowledge I seek only comes from experience I lack. In short, I'm a perpetual dumbass always getting a bit smarter through the experiences life throws at me. I think we tend to believe that we will somehow arrive at some point of clarity, when we'll have our "shit figured out...". It's the idea that we'll arrive at a state of balance or equilibrium and then and there, we will be happy. More and more however, I'm wondering if we never get there...and putting that happiness over the cognitive horizon is somehow backwards. What if we just started with happiness? Would the rest fall in to place?
